Rydym wedi cyflwyno ein thema newydd ac mae'r gweithgareddau yn seiliedig ar y thema Lan a Lawr / Awstralia. Hyd yn hyn, rydym wrthi yn paratoi at ein genre:

• pamffled ffeithiol yn llawn gwybodaeth a ffeithiau am atyniadau Awstralia. 

Darllen

Cofiwch i barhau i ddarllen eich llyfrau darllen- Cymraeg a Saesneg. Rydym wedi dechrau rhoi llyfrau unwaith eto i'r disgyblion. Beth am drafod neu ofyn cwestiynau i'ch plentyn ar ol darllen i sicrhau dealltwriaeth?

Saesneg/ English

This term we are focusing on the Read Write Inc scheme of work. The children will be learning about sounds and how to spell and write correctly using these sounds. 

We will be covering some smaller genres through our Humanities Area of Learning. These genres will be:

• Writing a letter to a penpal in Australia.

Reading

Remember to continue reading your Welsh and English reading books regularly. We have started giving the books once again, after lockdown. Why not discuss or ask questions about your child's reading book, to ensure he/she has understood and enjoyed?

Remember reading can be fun!

Mathemateg a Rhifedd / Mathematics and Numeracy

Rydyn ni wedi bod yn casglu ffeithiau rhif am atyniadau Awstralia e.e uchder, hyd a'r tywydd.

Rydyn ni hefyd wedi bod yn canolbwyntio ar sgiliau rhif megis adio a thynnu fesul colofnau, lluosi tabl 2,3,4,5 a 10 a rhannu. 

This term we have been collecting number facts about Australia attractions such as height/length of buildings. 

We have also been concentrating on our numerical skills such as addition and subtraction including addition and subtraction in columns. Also we have been concentrating on our times tables, including 2,3,4,5 and 10.

Dyniaethau / Humanities

Fel rhan o'n thema Awstralia, rydyn ni'n bwriadu astudio hanes y wlad. Yn ogystal a hyn, rydyn ni'n canolbwyntio ar ddaearyddiaeth y wlad (mapio). 

As part of our "Australia" theme, we will be studying the history of the country. We have also been developing our geography skills by looking at maps. 

Gwyddoniaeth a Technoleg / Science and Technology

Y tymor yma rydyn ni'n dysgu am anifeiliaid Awstralia a'u cynefin a grwpiau anifeiliaid. 

This term we have been learning about animals from Australia which includes their habit and groups of animals. 

Celfyddydau Mynegiannol / Expressive Arts

Ar ol hanner tymor, fe fyddwn ni yn astudio celf a cherddoriaeth Awstralia.

After half term, we will be studying indigenous art and music including the digeridoo. 

Iechyd a Lles/Health and Well-being

Mae iechyd a lles ein plant wastad yn flaenoriaeth i ni fel ysgol.

Health and well-being is always a priority for us in our school.

Ymarfer Corff/Physical Education

Bydd ein gwersi ymarfer corff bob Dydd Iau. Cofiwch ddillad ac esgidiau addas.
