Message of the day 27/3/20
Bore da Parents!
I hope all our lovely year 2 families are keeping well!
In today's message I have read a funny story to the children about the naughty bear Alun yr Arth. I hope the children enjoy it and it makes them smile!
Thanks once again for all the wonderful photos and messages you are sending through on Seesaw or via email. Please keep them coming, we really do love to see them and will always respond to them!
As we've stated before, if you need any support at all with the digital learning, we are more than happy to help in any way we can, just send us an email and we'll try our utmost to help.
Have a lovely, safe weekend with your beautiful children and we'll post another message on Monday morning.
Take care all,
All the year 2 staff xx
Daily message to children - 26 / 3 / 20
Bore da year 2 parents!
I hope all you lovely year 2 families are keeping well. Our message to the children today is thanking them all (with the help of their parents) for keeping in touch with us, by uploading pictures and videos to the class Seesaw pages or by emailing things directly to us.
We are missing the children lots already, so seeing their work or their beautiful faces or hearing their voices really is filling up our buckets while we can't be together in class!
Please keep on uploading to Seesaw or emailing us, and of course we are here to support you if you are having difficulty accessing anything, please feel free to get in touch!
I filmed the message today when taking my dog Twm for a walk in the park behind our house, it was a good excuse for the both of us to get some fresh air and exercise!
Take care everyone and I'll be back in touch tomorrow with another message!
Year 2 Staff
Today, we would like you to show us how your children are able to spread positive messages to the community, by creating rainbows. Some children have already made rainbows to display in their windows and although it was initially intended as a big game of 'eye spy', now that our access to the outside world is limited, it can serve as a message of hope and a 'hello' to neighbours who may need a pick me up during these difficult times.
We would love for the children to post their pictures, messages or to even create a rainbow picture using the Seesaw app, by clicking the green + 'Add' button, select 'Post Student Work', and there you may choose how you would like to send your task.
Please remeber that the staff are here to help you if you are having difficulty logging in to any platform.
We look forward to seeing your work!

Our video message of the day asks your children to log in to Seesaw and record a message to the teachers just to say hello, so we can see their smiley faces and hear their voices. We will be adding activities for the children to complete using Seesaw in the future, but children are able to get creative and use the app to draw pictures, and record messages. Perhaps they would like to record themselves reading a book for their teacher to hear.
Mrs Williams has also recorded a story for the children to listen to - check out the link below for the story, the song and the lyrics. Perhaps the children could record themselves singing along!!
Hoping you are all well!

Neges y dydd 23.03.2020 Message of the Day
We are sending this video message to the children today and will update a new message regularly, so please check back again here on our class page, for more messages in the coming days and weeks. We hope that all our lovely year 2 children are safe and well. We hope that the children are enjoying the nice weather in the garden and spending quality time at home with the family.
Thank you to those of you who have helped your children join the Google Classroom and are already enjoying completing some of the activities we have uploaded. If you require support to help your child join, please feel free to contact us via email, we will be only too happy to help.
Remember that your children can also use the Seesaw app to keep in touch with us too, and can share pictures, photographs and short videos to our class Seesaw pages too. Its free to download and lots of fun! Again, get in touch if you need any help using the Seesaw app.
Please see the link below to listen to some lovely Welsh medium stories.
